Christie Versagli, LPC, specializes in the intersection of psychology and communications, dedicated to the design and dissemination of innovative materials to increase individual and collective well-being. Christie is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Certified Youth Mental Health Specialist, and a summa cum laude graduate of Johns Hopkins University with a master's of science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She is the author of a proactive and preventative wellness program called THRIVE: A Guide to Individual and Collective Well-Being (2018), featured in the U.S. News & World Report's Best Colleges Guidebook (2019) as a program a number of American colleges and universities have offered with success to expand their mental health services and help students combat distress. THRIVE was offered as a course for academic credit at Hopkins in 2020. She served as the Director of Web Development for the World Well-Being Project at the University of Pennsylvania's Positive Psychology Center led by former American Psychological Association president Dr. Martin Seligman where she led the design and promotion of websites and apps to derive and share well-being research insights through the use of social media language analyses. Prior, Christie served as an Account Manager at advertising agency Arnold Worldwide creating global health, wellness, and philanthropic campaigns for corporations like New Balance. Christie is passionate about organizing human complexities into practical tools for thriving.
