A summa cum laude graduate of Johns Hopkins University with a Masters of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Christie specializes in counseling young people, couples, and families, but she is experienced in providing counseling to a wide range of diverse clients. Christie utilizes a strengths-based approach to focus on improving client awareness, insight, resilience, and optimism and strengthening their capacity to assume control over their own well-being and potential. Christie is skilled in relationship dynamics and helping clients evoke effective communication and connection with others. With astute perception and articulation skills and the ability to reveal and inspire significant hope, Christie values confidentiality and establishing strong relationships with her clients in a safe and accepting environment, accommodating client needs and preferences in therapy to ensure they find counseling to be a rewarding experience.
